Support Community Gardens Around Karachi

Karachi is one of the biggest and the most densely populated cities of the world. With 60 % of its population living in slums and a green cover of less than 2 % it is directly facing issues of malnutrition and climate change.

I have worked with diverse communities and partnered with many schools to grow edible gardens for children and communities in past 10 years. After recent brutal heatwaves, I decided to make use of all resources to kick start many more edible gardens, food forests and orchards around the city.

More than 300 people have registered as volunteers on my call-to-action and the Crops in Pots Volunteer Community is already fundraising and planting trees. It is your chance to play a role in this green movement.
